About this experience
The bay is calmest before the city wakes up. We launch while the sky is still charcoal, paddle past the yacht harbor, and let the fog burn gold around the Golden Gate Bridge as the sun comes up behind Angel Island.
This is a guided group paddle, not a race — expect long, easy stretches to just sit with the paddle across your lap and look up at the bridge from directly underneath it, something you can only really get from the water.

What to expect
6:00 AM
Meet at the harbor, suit up, 10-minute paddling briefing on land.
6:20 AM
Launch in pairs, paddle out along the Marina breakwater.
6:45 AM
Group holds position near the bridge as the sun comes up over the Bay.
8:00 AM
Paddle back in, warm drinks waiting at the harbor.
8:30 AM
Return gear and head out.
